As directed by the Government and the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons, the Practice is closed apart from for the provision of urgent and critical care. We can continue to provide any medication your pet is currently taking and we have a vet available to discuss ongoing or new issues. Please call our usual number.
If the vet considers that your pet requires immediate veterinary attention, you will be asked to come to the Practice. Once you arrive in the car park, please call the Practice and one of our team will come and collect your pet. The vet will keep you informed regarding any diagnosis and course of action/medication required.
Please note, at all times, we must try to maintain a 2m distance between our staff and clients, as directed by the Government.
Vaccines and boosters are to be delayed at this time and we are assured that it is safe for your pet for a few months unless they have an underlying health condition or are going into boarding.
Routine flea and worming treatment must also be delayed. Our receptionist is maintaining a list of all requests and as soon as we are able to, we will provide these products.
If you wish to collect medicines, please call from the carpark and one of our staff will bring the package out and place it on the wall within your sight.
If we have arranged for our lovely driver Mike to deliver a package for you, please note he will be keeping his distance too!
If you have an urgent query, please call our usual number but be aware that we have far fewer staff than usual. If your query is not urgent, please email firstname.lastname@example.org

Latest News and Updates
As with cats and dogs, we recommend that Rabbits are vaccinated regularly. Alongside the standard Rabbit vaccine there is a new VHD2 vaccine, that has recently been introduced. We would advise that your rabbit has both of these vaccinations annually, but not at the same time. Ideally these should be staggered 2 weeks apart. Please get in touch with the practice to discuss your Rabbits health needs and to get any additional information that you need.
Pet Passports and Brexit
With the UK having left the EU on 31st January 2020, we are now in a transition phase for 11 months until the end of 2020. Currently, pet owners can continue to travel using their Pet Passports at the moment. We are being regularly updated and will be posting news here as and when we have further information. Anyone who is planning to travel with their pet should call and chat through their plans with one of our vets NOW, as to be certain of travelling there may be additional conditions to satisfy.
